Pirate Clock II
Pirate Clock II is very similar to my original Pirate Clock, it's made in the same way, except this time I used laser cut wood rather than cardboard.
The pirates have evaded the octopus but at the cost of their ship. Now they are adrift on a raft and are being pursued by a shark.
As with the previous design I had planned to cover the the main face with a rotating section of waves that would act as the second hand, but as before it proved too heavy, so I added a gull and a box fish to the second hand instead. It has meant there is a slightly rough bit of wave at the bottom of the raft, but I hope to fully refine it by the time I get to Pirate Clock III.
